PARTICIPATION WAIVER, TERMS & CONDITIONS (UK)
By entering the Venue, participating in activities, creating an account, booking a session, or electronically signing this agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
If signing on behalf of a participant under 18 years old, you confirm that you are the participant's parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.

1. DEFINITIONS
"Venue" refers to the skatepark, facility, operator, employees, contractors, volunteers, coaches and authorised representatives.
"Activities" includes, but is not limited to:
• Stunt scootering
• BMX riding
• Skateboarding
• Inline skating
• Roller skating
• Coaching sessions
• Competitions and events
• Holiday clubs
• Group sessions
• Private hire
• Equipment rental
• Spectator access
• Café and communal areas
• Any other activity taking place within the Venue premises

2. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
The participant acknowledges that action sports and skatepark activities involve inherent, obvious and unavoidable risks.
These risks include, but are not limited to:
• Falls from height
• Collisions with ramps, obstacles or other users
• Equipment failure
• Misjudgement of speed or manoeuvres
• Loss of control
• Surface impact injuries
• Serious injury
• Permanent disability
• Death
The participant understands that injuries can occur regardless of skill level, supervision, protective equipment or prior experience.
Participation is entirely voluntary and all participants accept and assume the risks associated with the Activities.

3. FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE
Participants confirm that they:
• Are physically and medically fit to participate
• Are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Will not participate whilst knowingly suffering from any condition that could endanger themselves or others
Participants should seek medical advice before participating if they have concerns regarding:
• Heart conditions
• Epilepsy
• Back, neck or spinal conditions
• Pregnancy
• Recent surgery
• Bone or joint conditions
• Respiratory conditions
• Head injuries or concussion history
• Any condition affecting physical activity
The Venue reserves the right to refuse participation where participation may present a safety risk.

4. SAFETY RULES
All participants agree to:
• Ride within their ability level
• Follow all staff instructions
• Respect other users
• Use equipment responsibly
• Follow all posted signage and rules
• Immediately report hazards, damage or injuries to staff
Participants under 16 years old must wear a helmet at all times whilst participating.
The Venue strongly recommends additional protective equipment including:
• Knee pads
• Elbow pads
• Wrist guards
• Appropriate footwear
The Venue may refuse entry or remove any person acting dangerously, aggressively, recklessly or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

5. SUPERVISION & MINORS
Participants under the minimum permitted age may not use the facility.
Participants under 10 years old, or participants requiring additional support or supervision, must remain accompanied on site by a responsible adult at all times.
The Venue is not responsible for supervising children.
Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for:
• The behaviour of minors in their care
• Assessing the suitability of participation
• Ensuring compliance with all Venue rules
By signing this agreement on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian confirms they accept the risks outlined in this agreement.

6. EQUIPMENT
Participants are responsible for ensuring all personal equipment is safe, properly maintained and suitable for use.
The Venue reserves the right to inspect or refuse unsafe equipment.
Any rental equipment remains the property of the Venue and must be returned in reasonable condition.
Participants may be charged for damage caused by misuse, reckless behaviour or theft.

7. INJURIES & FIRST AID
Participants must immediately report all accidents, injuries or hazards to staff.
The participant authorises the Venue to administer or arrange emergency first aid treatment where reasonably necessary.
The participant understands that emergency services may be contacted if required.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing within this agreement excludes or limits liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability which cannot legally be excluded under English law
Subject to the above, participation is undertaken entirely at the participant's own risk.
The Venue shall not be liable for:
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Theft
• Unattended belongings
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Injuries arising from the inherent risks associated with action sports activities

9. PERSONAL PROPERTY
All personal belongings, vehicles, scooters, bikes and equipment are brought onto the premises entirely at the owner's risk.
The Venue accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage unless caused directly by negligence.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING & MEDIA
The Venue may occasionally capture photography or video content for:
• Marketing
• Social media
• Events coverage
• Promotional materials
Separate consent preferences may be selected during registration.
Participants may request removal of identifiable promotional content where reasonably possible.
The Venue reserves the right to use general crowd imagery where individuals are not the primary subject.

11. CCTV
CCTV operates throughout the Venue for:
• Safety
• Security
• Incident investigation
• Crime prevention
• Staff training
Footage may be shared with insurers, emergency services or authorities where legally required.

12. DIGITAL SIGNATURES
By electronically signing this agreement, the participant acknowledges that:
• Electronic signatures carry the same legal effect as handwritten signatures
• Digital records may include timestamps, IP addresses and device information
• The agreement may be stored electronically as proof of acceptance

13. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY
The Venue reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant without refund where behaviour is considered:
• Dangerous
• Abusive
• Intimidating
• Reckless
• Disruptive
• Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• In breach of Venue rules
Staff decisions relating to safety are final.

14. SEVERABILITY
If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, all remaining sections shall remain valid and enforceable.

15. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
